Sondilá Mestres

The Sondilá Project has been a meeting point for masters of capoeira, percussion and other Brazilian cultural expressions, creating a bridge between ancestry and contemporaneity. With the aim of valuing ancestral knowledge, Sondilá promotes intergenerational dialogue, giving voice to the elderly and ensuring the oral transmission of knowledge. In addition to being a space for sharing experiences, the project also fosters cultural collaborations around the world. As a result of these exchanges, several events and workshops have been held, as well as the recording of two albums, which brought together renowned masters, such as Brasília, Vitor da Trindade, Zé Antônio, Aparício Bolinha and Mestre Alemão.
