Oficina de Percussão

Diego Calasso’s Percussion Lab merges musical learning, culture, and history through Brazilian rhythms such as samba, maracatu, and ijexá, along with African and Latin American influences.

With a collective and flexible approach, participants explore percussion using professional instruments, recycled materials, or even their own bodies. The course enhances coordination, listening skills, and body expression while valuing oral traditions and cultural heritage.

Adapted for different age groups, the workshop fosters intergenerational exchanges and strengthens folk culture in a hands-on and immersive way.
