Terreiro Lírico
Terreiro Lírico is a branch of the Sondilá project, born from the meeting of São Paulo musicians Miguel Baraka and Diego Calasso in Lugano, Switzerland. Blending classical music with the ancestral rhythms of Afro-Brazilian religious traditions, the duo presents a repertoire of original compositions and reinterpretations of traditional Afro-Brazilian folk songs.
With Miguel Baraka on vocals and guitar and Diego Calasso on percussion, Terreiro Lírico maintains an open and ever-evolving approach, welcoming guest musicians who add new sonic layers with instruments like piano, clarinet, cello, and other orchestral elements, enriching the fusion between tradition and innovation.
